Sweet Night by Kenooz opens with a dense rush of dark berries and stone fruit. Black currant and raspberry lead first, followed closely by mango and plum. The fruit is ripe and heavy, leaning into jam more than juice. It feels thick on contact, with a syrupy quality that settles fast. The fruit does not sparkle or lift. It sits low and warm, carrying a deep sweetness that moves straight into the floral heart without much pause. Lily-of-the-valley adds a pale, slightly cool edge, but jasmine orchid and rose pull the center back toward soft, powdery richness. The florals here support the gourmand base rather than floating above it.

The drydown brings chocolate, vanilla, and musk together with frankincense, ambergris, and leather. The chocolate and vanilla are smooth and dark, not bright or sugary. Frankincense adds a dry, faintly resinous lift that keeps the sweetness from flattening completely. Leather gives the base a firm, slightly smoked texture that sits next to the animalic warmth of ambergris. Musk rounds the edges so the transition between fruit, flower, and resin feels continuous. Nothing here is sharp or clean. The accord stays close to the skin in weight, moving through amber and tropical tones that feel suited to a dim room and a cool evening walk under bare trees.

Sweet Night suits someone who enjoys fruit and flower layered over deep gourmand materials, especially when the air feels crisp and the night is quiet. It is not for those who prefer light citrus or clean musk without richness. The leather and frankincense ask for patience as the chocolate and vanilla continue to unfold slowly across the darker parts of the blend while the plum and rose hold their place.
