Blue Bergamot
Fragrance notes
Character
Blue Bergamot by Le Glorie Fragrances opens with a bright citrus blend of bergamot and mandarin orange, joined by the tropical sweetness of coconut, melon, and pineapple. Cassis and cotton candy add a sugary lift, while jasmine brings a soft floral touch to the top layer. The heart introduces blackberry, red berries, peach, plum, and apricot, creating a dense fruitiness that sits alongside lily-of-the-valley, jasmine orchid, and rose. Nutmeg, caraway, and honey warm the middle, giving the fruit a gentle spice and a sticky, golden depth. The white floral and green accords keep the composition from feeling completely heavy, but the fruit remains the dominant story throughout.
The base rests on musk, amber, sandalwood, and tonka bean, with patchouli, chocolate, caramel, and vanilla rounding out the drydown. This is a floral fruity gourmand that leans fully into sweetness, layering candy, honey, and dessert-like notes over a creamy, musky foundation. The aromatic and fresh spicy accords provide small moments of contrast, yet they never shift the overall character. The limitation here is the lack of balance. The sweetness stays at the same high level from the first spray to the final drydown, and the composition offers little for anyone who prefers a fragrance with a dry or restrained edge.
