Oud Mirage
Fragrance notes
Character
Oud Mirage can feel a little disjointed when the metallic accord meets the fresh facet, as the two do not always sit comfortably together. The metallic edge sometimes pushes forward in a way that makes the rest of the composition feel slightly scattered rather than cohesive. This sharpness can distract from the richer elements that give the fragrance its weight.
Patchouli and amber form a deep, earthy foundation that carries saffron and litchi through the wear. The saffron adds a warm spicy texture while the litchi brings a bright, tropical fruitiness that keeps the heavier notes from feeling too dense. Leather and woody tones add further dryness, and the fresh accord prevents the blend from becoming completely heavy.
The metallic facet remains the weak point, occasionally overwhelming the subtle litchi and making the spicy warmth harder to appreciate. When that sharpness takes over, the earthy and amber qualities lose some of their clarity. The balance improves when the metallic edge recedes, but it never fully disappears from the background.
