Saffron Bloom
Fragrance notes
Character
Saffron Bloom begins with a bright citrus mix of tangerine and orange, softened by a tart raspberry and a sharp lift of cardamom. The opening feels energetic and clean, moving quickly into a heart where rose and geranium add a floral green touch. Pepper brings a dry bite that keeps the flowers from feeling soft, while cypress pushes the scent toward a resinous, wood-adjacent character. The transition is smooth, and the spice never becomes aggressive.
The drydown is where the composition settles into its true shape. Saffron and labdanum create a warm, slightly leathery resin that rests on a bed of vanilla and musk. Moss adds a faint earthy dryness that prevents the vanilla from becoming too rounded. The result is a spicy, musky scent with a sweet resinous core that suits a sunny afternoon outdoors. The raspberry note from the start lingers longer than expected, and its candied quality eventually clashes with the dry moss and pepper. This fruity sharpness can feel out of place against the heavier base, making the overall blend seem slightly undecided.
