Our take

The white pepper and cardamom open with a sharp bite that feels slightly abrasive on the skin. This initial roughness never fully settles, leaving a faintly metallic edge that persists beneath the brighter Sicilian bergamot. Sandalwood and precious woods form the core of the scent, but the patchouli adds a damp, earthy weight that can feel heavy rather than grounding. Jasmine attempts to lift the composition, though it gets buried under the denser woody notes. White musk and iris in the base create a soft, powdery finish that blends with the amber to produce a warm, slightly dusty trail.

The scent stays near the body as it develops, moving with you through a bright morning without ever expanding outward. Its presence remains steady for a reasonable span before the notes begin to recede gently into the background. The real drawback is that the individual elements never achieve true harmony. The spices clash with the floral heart, and the powdery base feels disconnected from the sharp opening. It is a collection of interesting parts that fail to blend into a unified whole, leaving the wearer with a fragmented experience.
