The base brings tonka bean, benzoin, and honey into the mix. The honey adds a thick, golden sweetness that leans rich rather than light. Benzoin contributes a warm resinous feel, and tonka bean rounds the blend with a smooth, slightly nutty depth. Together they create a finish that feels amber-heavy and steady, with the rose still visible through the heavier notes.
The overall character is sweet and floral with a strong amber pull. Green and ozonic touches from the accords keep the composition from sitting completely heavy, adding a faint airy quality that lifts the resin and honey. It feels suited to a bright autumn day when the air is cool but the sun is still out, the kind of weather where a warm scent feels comforting without turning stifling. The woodsy accord adds a dry anchor under the sugar.
