The sun sits high over a stone terrace in the hills, where a clay bowl holds cut stems of hyacinth and white lily beside a half-peeled Sicilian lemon. Kéa lives in that bowl. Galbanum and cassis give the air a crisp, leafy bite, while honeysuckle and orange blossom spill their nectar across the heat. Lavender and bergamot keep the edges clean, so the opening feels like a garden caught between morning and noon, bright and slightly damp.
As the afternoon settles, the flowers deepen. Moroccan jasmine and ylang-ylang wrap around iris and carnation, with tuberose and rose adding weight and a faintly powdery softness. Lily returns here, linking the top to the heart, and the scent becomes a dense white floral bouquet with a yellow floral glow. Vetiver and oakmoss pull the petals toward the earth, while cedar and sandalwood give the stems a dry wood backing. Incense curls through the petals, and patchouli adds a dark, earthy fold that keeps the sweetness grounded.
Leather sits in the base, and it is the one note that refuses to blend quietly. It carries a rough, animalic edge that can feel sharp against the surrounding florals, breaking the smooth arc of the garden with a sudden, dry roughness. Amber tries to soften the meeting point, but the transition stays blunt. The composition is rich and detailed, yet that leathery snap limits how seamlessly the fragrance wears, leaving a small, stubborn gap between the flowers and the woods.
