Our take

Morning light falls across a stone terrace where pots of hyacinth and lemon trees line the path. The air carries a crisp green edge from galbanum and black currant, bright and dewy, with lavender and honeysuckle weaving through the citrus. It feels like stepping into a garden just after the dew has lifted, when every leaf looks sharp and every petal holds a drop of water.

The heart opens into a dense bed of lilies and tuberose, jasmine and ylang-ylang wrapping around carnation and rose. Orris and iris lend a soft, powdery texture that settles over the skin like fine dust on fresh petals. Honeysuckle and orange blossom return here, sweeter now, while lily-of-the-valley adds a cool, watery thread. The flowers do not compete so much as pile gently upward, creating a white floral mass that feels both lush and composed.

Beneath that floral weight, vetiver and oakmoss bring a damp earthiness, patchouli and incense adding a faint resinous warmth. Sandalwood and cedar give the base a smooth, woody spine, while leather and musk sit quietly in the background, never sharp, more like a worn garden glove left on a sunny bench. Amber glows faintly through the greens and woods, pulling the scent toward something rounded and calm, the way soil holds heat after the sun has moved across the yard
