Our take

The morning air in the garden is cool but bright. Galbanum and cassis cut through the stillness with a sharp green bite, while Sicilian lemon and bergamot add a clean, sunlit clarity. White lily and hyacinth push upward through the damp earth, their stems damp with dew. Lavender and honeysuckle drift in from the border, soft and slightly sweet, and orange blossom hums quietly in the background. The opening is vivid and layered, pulling the surrounding greenery into the scent.

As the light grows stronger, the flowers open fully. Lily and Moroccan jasmine take the lead, smooth and creamy, joined by tuberose and ylang-ylang. Carnation adds a gentle, peppery lift, while iris and rose round out the heart with a soft, powdery texture. Honeysuckle returns here, tying the top to the middle. The floral blend is dense but not heavy, sitting close to the skin like a gathered bouquet carried through a path of wet stone and climbing vines.

The ground beneath the flowers is rich and dark. Leather appears first, smooth and faintly dry, followed by sandalwood and cedar. Patchouli and vetiver bring an earthy depth that feels rooted in the soil. Amber and musk warm the air slightly, while oakmoss and incense add a quiet, shadowed texture. The base does not overwhelm the flowers above it. Instead, it holds them in place, giving the scent a firm, grounded presence that belongs entirely to the outdoors.

Sunlight filters through the canopy and lands on a stone bench covered in fallen petals. The wood is warm, the moss between the stones is damp, and the air smells of blossoms, green stems, and dry earth all at once.
