Our take

Nina Prestige Edition opens with a sharp citrus spritz of lemon and lime, like a soda crackling against the heat of the sidewalk. That fizz quickly softens into a heart of green apple and praline, a sticky-sweet confection wrapped in peony and datura’s creamy white floral petals. The base lets apple blossom and white cedar drift over a clean musk, dusting off the sugar without erasing it entirely. The overall character is a sparkling fruit compote served on a porcelain dish in a conservatory: bright, girlish, and just barely restrained by wood and flower.

It wears as a thoroughly mainstream floral fruity gourmand, more synthetic than natural, with the kind of polished sweetness that expects you to smile back. The numbers confirm its biggest weakness: longevity and sillage are modest at best. By the three-hour mark, the praline has faded to a whisper, and only the musk and cedar remain as a faint, clean ghost. This works fine for a brunch outing or a daytime office shift, especially in spring or fall, but don’t expect it to carry you through a long dinner or a winter night. It suits someone who wants a cheerful, uncomplicated scent with a touch of whimsy, and who doesn’t mind reapplying. Skip it if you crave projection or depth, or if you can’t stand the thought of smelling like a candied apple that forgot to be tart 🌸.
