Oud Maraam
Fragrance notes
Character
The sun sits low over a courtyard lined with pale stone. A small table holds a glass of cold water and a slice of orange peel left in the heat. Oud Maraam rests in the air without announcing itself. The citrus is bright and clean, lemon and bergamot cutting through the warm air with a clear edge. It does not sparkle in a playful way. It feels steady, like light falling across a wall.
Amyris and oud move through the space together. The wood is dry and resinous, tempered by the green lift of geranium. Patchouli adds a damp earthiness that keeps the air grounded. Leather enters slowly, smooth and faintly worn, never sharp. Musk and amber settle beneath it all, giving the scene a soft, balsamic warmth that clings to the stone and to the fabric of a sleeve.
This is not a loud composition. It suits someone standing still and paying attention. The citrus fades into the wood, and the wood folds into leather. There is no rush across the notes. The moment stays where it is, held together by a quiet, aromatic clarity that feels complete on its own. Oud.
