Rosa - Limited Edition

Character
Rosa - Limited Edition opens with a thick rose and tuberose pairing that feels heavy and resinous rather than fresh. Copaiba balm and Peru balsam move through the floral layer early, adding a sticky, golden warmth that coats the rose instead of letting it breathe. Narcissus deepens the floral side with a slightly animalic weight, while cedar and palisander rosewood give the heart a dry, polished wood backing that keeps the flowers from floating. The tobacco and tonka bean in the base pull the composition toward a dark, sweet amber that lingers on fabric and skin through a long day. Civet adds a faintly musky edge that makes the floral resin feel lived in rather than showroom clean.
Red sandalwood and styrax round out the drydown with a smooth, balsamic smoke that stays present in the air around the wearer for hours. The blend is dense and unapologetically rich, which means it can feel overwhelming in heat or in small enclosed spaces. It suits cooler weather and evening wear, but anyone sensitive to heavy white florals or animalic accents will find the density difficult to wear. The scale of the scent is part of its character, yet the resinous weight can become cloying before the day ends.
