Styrax and labdanum introduce a warm, amber-like stickiness that clings to the drier, pencil-shavings character of Texas cedar. The aromatic freshness of the top notes lingers just long enough to prevent the resins from feeling heavy.
The drydown defines the fragrance. Oud arrives with a dry, woody hollowness that avoids the sharp medicinal edge found in harsher compositions. Haitian vetiver brings a damp, earthy root quality that grounds the blend, while sandalwood offers a creamy, pale wood smoothness. The balsamic accord becomes more prominent here, wrapping the woods in a soft, slightly sweet resin. It suits a quiet morning walk through damp woods or a cool evening indoors with a heavy sweater. The overall impression is woody and amber, settled deeply into sandalwood.
