Our take

L'Air de Panache opens with a bright, sparkling lift from aldehydes and bergamot. Petitgrain adds a clean, leafy edge while melon and yuzu bring a juicy, slightly tart fruitiness. The start feels airy and polished, with the aldehydes giving the citrus a shimmering quality that catches attention without feeling heavy.

The heart introduces jasmine and rose, soft and floral, balanced by the gentle sweetness of fig and the crisp bite of apple. This stage keeps the fragrance lively and elegant, moving between fresh petals and ripe fruit. The white floral accord stays present but never overwhelms the green and fruity elements around it.

Patchouli and oakmoss form a woody, mossy foundation that grounds the brighter top and heart. Castoreum adds a distinct leathery, earthy depth that leans into the smoky accord. The result is a chypre structure that feels rooted and slightly rugged, with the patchouli and mossy notes lingering beneath the smoother florals and fruit.

The scent suits a walk under turning trees, when the air is cool and the ground smells of damp leaves and soil. A scarf pulled close carries the warmth of rose and leather, while the breeze brings a last trace of aldehydic citrus.
