Our take

Inle Iris opens with a bright, almost herbal snap: bergamot and mint sharpen the air while artemisia adds an aromatic, slightly bitter greenness. This fades into a tea-like heart where mate’s earthy warmth meets osmanthus and jasmine sambac, the former lending a subtle apricot fruitiness that keeps the florals from tipping into heady territory. The base settles into a soft iris, powdery but not chalky, cushioned by clean musk. The overall effect is like a watercolor painting left out in the spring rain, edges blurred, colors muted but still distinct.

This is a restrained floral, neither sweet nor heavy, and it feels natural in the best sense: transparent, almost shy. But that delicacy comes at a cost. With longevity around 3.21 and sillage barely above a whisper at 3.20, it fades quickly and stays close to the skin. You will catch pleasant whiffs for an hour or two, then nothing. The rating of 3.94 reflects a fragrance that does its quiet job well but never demands attention.

Inle Iris suits someone who loves intimate scents, who wants to feel a soft powdery iris on their own collar rather than announce it to a room. Skip it if you crave projection or all-day wear. This is for a cool spring afternoon spent reading in a park, or a summer evening when heavy perfume feels suffocating. It works beautifully in daylight, less so at night. Wear it for yourself, not for the crowd, and be prepared to reapply.
