Esprit
Fragrance notes
Character
Esprit opens with bright citrus and sharp spice. Grapefruit and bergamot provide a clean, tart lift, while ginger and coriander add a zesty, slightly peppery edge. The entrance feels energetic and clear, moving quickly away from the initial spray.
The heart introduces frankincense and pink pepper alongside rose and lily-of-the-valley. The floral notes are soft and slightly powdery, but the incense gives them a dry, resinous texture. As the fragrance develops, the base takes over with heavy woods and resin. Sandalwood and oud create a dense, creamy foundation, supported by amber, gurjan balsam, and vanilla. Leather and patchouli add a dark, earthy roughness to the mix. The musk wraps these elements in a soft, skin-like warmth. The overall impression is a rich, woody composition with strong amber and spice tones that feel suited to evening wear.
The scent carries a heavy load of notes that sometimes compete rather than blend. The leather and oud can feel slightly synthetic next to the natural brightness of the heart flowers. With so many strong accords, the specific character of the lily-of-the-valley and coriander gets lost in the dense final mix.
