The opening feels crowded. Plum, Argentinian lemon, bergamot, and cypress all arrive at once, and the citrus strains to rise above the heavy fruit. It lacks the airiness that makes a tropical composition feel effortless, leaning instead into a dense, sticky start that can feel a little clumsy on the first spray.
Mango, jackfruit, and pineapple soon take over, supported by patchouli, guaiac wood, and white musk. The heart is sweet and unmistakably tropical, but the earthy patchouli and woody accents ground it so it never becomes a simple candy scent. Sandalwood, oakmoss, Atlas cedar, and ambroxan in the base add a mossy, powdery depth that keeps the profile from floating away completely.
You are standing under a wide banana leaf while a heavy rain taps the canopy above. The air is thick with crushed mango and damp cedar, and a cool mossy dampness clings to the bark beside you. Sweet fruit hangs in the humid air, mixed with the dry scent of wet wood and stone.
