Flower Patchouli opens with a sharp citrus burst from blood orange, quickly joined by the heat of cinnamon and cloves. Black currant adds a dark, fruity edge to the top layer, giving the entrance a slightly jammy feel before the spices take full control. The start is bright and warm at the same time, with the orange providing lift and the spices grounding it immediately.
The heart shifts toward white florals with jasmine taking a leading role, supported by violet and rose. The rose here is soft rather than powdery, and the violet adds a gentle, slightly cool floral touch. Together they create a traditional feminine floral core that feels steady and composed, sitting between the spicy opening and the heavier base.
Patchouli dominates the base, earthy and dry, with leather adding a firm, slightly rough texture. Amber brings a rounded warmth, while musk smooths the edges without making the blend feel overly soft. The overall drydown stays on the woody and earthy side of the accord list, with the patchouli and leather remaining the most noticeable elements.
The cinnamon and cloves in the opening can feel quite strong and may overwhelm the florals for those who prefer a lighter touch. The leather in the base also leans noticeable and may not suit someone looking for a purely floral patchouli. It is a bold composition with a heavy spice presence throughout.
