Rush suits someone who wants a warm, slightly abrasive floral to wear when the air feels heavy and the light is low. It opens with saffron and orange that feel bright at first, then quickly turn metallic and sharp. The spice does not soften into comfort. It sits forward and stays there while the rose and amber in the heart add weight without rounding the edges. The rose reads dry and a bit stiff, and the amber brings a resinous thickness that pushes the floral aspect toward something heavier and more deliberate.
Evernyl and vanilla form the base, and the vanilla tries to smooth the surface, but the Evernyl pulls the blend toward a leathery, earthy dryness that keeps the sweetness from ever feeling relaxed. The overall impression is warm spicy and metallic with a clear tobacco accord running through the middle. The saffron dominates more than it should, and the orange loses its shape early, leaving the top feeling unbalanced. The rose never fully integrates with the base, so the transition between heart and drydown feels abrupt rather than fluid. The metallic edge becomes tiring after a while, and the composition lacks a calming element to counter the constant spice.
