Our take

Extraordinary wants you to believe you are in a spring garden at first spritz. Cherry blossom and neroli burst with a candied, almost dewy citrus that feels like a glass of sparkling lemonade poured over ice. The heart is a polite bouquet of peony, rose, and magnolia, all clean and rounded, no thorns, no dirt. Then the base whispers vanilla orchid and amber, a soft woody dusting that never gets heavy. The overall character is a gossamer floral, a wisp of perfume that floats around you like a silk scarf caught in a breeze.

Pascal Gaurin and Bruno Jovanovic crafted something that smells impeccably mainstream, polite, and thoroughly safe. It is fresh and sweet in equal measure, but the sweetness is restrained, more like a flower nectar than a syrup. This is not a fragrance that announces itself; with a sillage rating of 2.65 and longevity barely clinging to 2.69, it evaporates faster than a morning fog. You will get two hours of gentle presence, then a skin scent, then nothing. That is its weakness, and it cannot be ignored.

Who should wear it? Someone who wants a quiet, sunny day companion, a spritz before brunch or a walk through the park in spring. It is perfectly suited to daytime, utterly unsuitable for nights or cold weather. Skip it if you need projection or lasting power, if you want to leave a trail. But if you value a fleeting, pretty moment that asks nothing of anyone, this is a cherry blossom petal that falls and disappears before you can catch it.
