The fruit is immediate and slightly tart, while the aldehydes add a clean, airy lift. Saffron brings a warm, slightly metallic edge that keeps the start from feeling purely sweet. Juniper adds a fresh, resinous touch that balances the tropical fruit. This opening feels lively and complex, moving quickly through its fruit and spice without lingering too long on any single element.
The heart introduces patchouli, cyclamen, magnolia, benzoin, jasmine, leather, violet, peach, orris, rose, and lily. Patchouli and leather give the center a dark, slightly rugged texture, while the flowers create a dense, layered bouquet. Peach and benzoin add soft sweetness, and orris provides a smooth, root-like depth. As the fragrance settles, the base becomes dominant. Sandalwood, ebony tree, labdanum, vanilla, vetiver, cedar, amber, tonka bean, musk, and iris take over. The iris here is powdery and refined, supported by creamy sandalwood and rich amber. Vanilla and tonka bean add a heavy, sweet warmth, while vetiver and cedar keep the woodiness dry and firm. Musk rounds out the finish.
