Ludeaux
Fragrance notes
Character
Ludeaux opens with peach and osmanthus that feel soft and slightly fuzzy against the skin. Ambrette adds a gentle, nutty warmth that keeps the fruit from leaning sugary. The skin note here is literal, a clean surface that lets the peach sit close without expanding outward.
In the heart, jasmine and magnolia bring a creamy white floral tone. Latex introduces a smooth, slightly rubbery edge that gives the flowers a modern, slightly sterile finish. Amyris bridges the heart and base with a pale wood that does not project far from the body.
The base rests on musk, ambroxan, sandalwood, and tonka bean. The musk and ambroxan create a quiet, mineral warmth that stays near the surface. Sandalwood and tonka bean add a pale, powdery sweetness that lingers in the immediate radius of the wearer.
This is a daylight scent that feels appropriate for a bright morning in a sunlit room. The composition is cohesive and well balanced. The latex and ambroxan together create a synthetic sharpness that can feel a bit thin and chemical on the skin.
