Eros
Fragrance notes
Character
Eros opens with aldehydes that give the bergamot and peach a lifted, slightly sparkling quality. The peach is present but restrained, offering a soft fruitiness that does not dominate the entrance. Aldehydes bring a crisp, airy texture that keeps the start feeling clean rather than heavy.
The heart introduces lily-of-the-valley and orange blossom, which form a white floral core that feels bright and transparent. Vetiver adds a green, slightly earthy thread that prevents the flowers from becoming too soft. The floral accord stays fresh and soapy, leaning more toward clean skin than a heavy bouquet.
Ambroxan, vanilla, and musk form the base. The ambroxan gives a modern, slightly mineral warmth, while vanilla adds a smooth sweetness that remains moderate. Musk rounds out the drydown with a familiar softness that keeps the finish close to the skin. The amber accord is light rather than resinous.
The soapy character is consistent throughout, which makes the fragrance feel groomed and tidy. The aldehydic freshness and green vetiver suit a bright, sunlit setting with open air and warm light. The vanilla and musk keep it approachable, though the aldehydes can feel sharp and slightly abrasive to sensitive noses.
