Our take

In a narrow stone courtyard lit by a single hanging lantern, the air is cool enough that breath fogs near the glass. Richest City enters through a soft press of rose and frankincense that feels like stepping into a space where wax has just been lit. The roses here are not dewy. They carry a resinous edge that makes the surrounding walls feel older than they are, as if the evening has settled into the mortar itself.

As the night deepens, jasmine and osmanthus unfold against that same rose. The osmanthus adds a gentle, rounded fruitiness that moves through the white florals without brightening them. Jasmine lends a creamy, lactonic texture that makes the air feel thicker, like silk drawn across skin. Frankincense lingers in the background, its soft spice keeping the florals from floating entirely free of the ground.

Vanilla arrives slowly and stays close to the skin, warm and rounded rather than sugary. It pulls the woods and amber into a final, hushed layer that feels like standing near a wooden door that has absorbed years of incense and heat. The lantern flickers once, the fruit and cream of the flowers still turning near the stone, and the whole courtyard rests in that single, amber-lit moment.
