Character
PĂCĂTOS opens with a rush of cold fizz and dark fruit. The coca-cola note meets plum and mango, while pink pepper and cinnamon add a sharp bite to the sweetness. Rhum agricole brings a raw, boozy edge that keeps the fruit from leaning juvenile. Pistachio adds a green, slightly salty crackle that makes the entrance feel textured rather than flat.
The heart settles into a soft gourmand space. Cacao and vanilla take the lead, supported by heliotrope and a bright flash of neroli. The vanilla here is dense and powdery rather than sugary, and the cacao reads more like a dry husk than a candy bar. It feels indulgent without becoming a dessert scent, carried by the warm spice that lingers from the opening.
Laboratoire des Endorphines created something for a dim room where the air is warm and the glass in your hand is cold. Arturetto Landi composed a blend that wraps benzoin, tonka, and sandalwood around a clean white musk and ambergris base. It is a fragrance that smells like neon lights reflecting off a rain-wet sidewalk at the end of a long night.
