Our take

This is a fragrance that smells like it crawled out of a leather jacket left in a Berlin basement for three years. Antoine Lie opens with a boozy slap of whiskey and cannabis, the juniper berries adding a gin-and-tonic sharpness that keeps it from going full dive bar. Then comes the heart: a weirdly compelling gasoline note that doesn't read as industrial accident but rather as the ghost of fuel on concrete after a summer rain, with cypriol adding a smoldering, rooty bitterness and the floral notes barely surfacing like distant graffiti under grime. The base lands on a smooth, almost plush oud-patchouli-sandalwood blend, the iris dusting everything with a faint lipstick powder that softens the rough edges.

The overall effect is a warm, earthy, mineral-heavy woody scent that feels distinctly niche: synthetic in texture but oddly natural in its dirt-and-metal grit. It leans heavy and dry, not sweet at all. Longevity is decent at around 3.6 out of 5, but sillage is disappointingly close to skin, barely a 3. You’ll smell this on yourself all day, but no one else will unless they press their nose to your collar. That makes it perfect for cold weather layering or introspective winter walks when you want your scent to be a private mood rather than a broadcast. It suits anyone who loves gasoline, worn leather, and woody smokiness, but skip it if you crave projection or crowd-pleasing freshness. This is a shadow, not a shout.
