Vetiveria Animalis opens with a sharp vetiver thread that runs straight through the bright lift of Calabrian bergamot. Aldehydes add a clean, slightly metallic sparkle that keeps the plum and cinnamon from leaning sweet. Geranium pushes in with a green, slightly peppery edge that steadies the fruit and prepares the ground for what follows.
The heart deepens as Haitian vetiver anchors a dense floral mix of narcissus, carnation, and Egyptian jasmine. Civet and orris bring a soft, powdery warmth that clings to skin and fabric for an extended period, while ambrette and Damask rose round out the floral side without losing the earthy core. Lily-of-the-valley adds a faint, cool freshness that cuts through the heavier materials and keeps the composition from collapsing into pure density.
Java vetiver oil and oakmoss lead the base, supported by Thailand oud and the unmistakable weight of hyrax and castoreum.
