The opening delivers bergamot, orange, and mandarin orange with real clarity, and the heart immediately pulls it toward something drier. Ginger, cardamom, pink pepper, and black pepper give the bright start a clean, angular feel, while lavender and neroli keep the tone approachable rather than aggressive.
The base confirms the argument. Cedar, sandalwood, vetiver, and patchouli ground the spice in a woody foundation that feels substantial without becoming heavy.
