Our take

The studio door is shut and the heater hums in the corner. A drop of resin sits warm on the inside of your wrist, sticky and golden, releasing a soft balsamic breath that feels heavier than the small amount you applied. Labdanum joins it quickly, thick and amber, curling around the resin until the air smells like carved wood and old stone. Musk slips underneath, a clean skin scent that makes the resins feel personal rather than decorative, as if the scent grew there rather than being sprayed.

Patchouli anchors the moment with an earthy depth that avoids sharp edges, letting the sandalwood smooth the surface until the blend feels like polished timber under your palm. The metallic accord runs through it like a thin wire, cool and faint, keeping the warm spicy sweetness from dominating the room. You notice the scent when you move your hand, a quiet presence that stays close to the skin and does not drift across the space.

The air remains unchanged for a long while, the woods holding their ground as the hours pass without thinning or shifting into something lighter. Nothing here demands attention, yet the smell stays with you through the slow afternoon, steady and unbroken, a companion that does not fade when the heater clicks off.

The final impression is sandalwood, soft and woody, wrapped in a last trace of musk.
