Vis is a fragrance built for the night. It opens with saffron and raspberry, a pairing that feels deliberate rather than decorative. The berry is not bright or juicy here. It sits low, giving the saffron a rounded, slightly sticky base to lean against. This is not a daytime casual wear. It is a scent that belongs in a room with low lighting and stone walls, where conversation happens in close circles and the air feels heavier than it did at noon.
The heart pushes that weight further with black pepper, cinnamon, and sandalwood. The pepper bites gently, the cinnamon warms the air, and the sandalwood smooths the edges so the spices never feel sharp. Musk sits underneath, keeping the texture soft while the spices do the work. It smells like a space that has been lived in, not a space being prepared for guests.
Oud and cypriol lead the base, supported by Peru balsam and amber. The oud is earthy and dry, the cypriol adds a root-like depth, and the balsam and amber hold a quiet resinous sweetness that never tries to dominate. The result is woody and musky, with a warm spicy accord that stays present from the first spray to the end.
