Sleepy Hollow
Fragrance notes
Character
Sleepy Hollow carries a flaw that will decide who keeps it on their shelf. The orange note feels sharp and synthetic against the surrounding blend, cutting through the softer elements with a brightness that reads more like candy coating than fresh peel. It distracts from the rounder materials and prevents the composition from settling into a fully cohesive rhythm. Those who prefer realistic citrus will notice the artificial edge immediately, and it does not soften enough to disappear completely.
Pumpkin, salted caramel, coffee CO2, espresso, milk, ambrette, Iso E Super, and orange combine into a sweet, musky, lactonic, warm spicy, fruity, woody, floral, and amber accord. The milk and caramel create a creamy texture while the coffee materials add roasted depth. Ambrette and Iso E Super lend a gentle musk and wood that support the gourmand side without overwhelming it. The orange remains the disruptive element throughout, keeping the fragrance from feeling entirely smooth. Composed by Sarah Park and launched in 2025, this unisex oriental vanilla suits cool evenings when a playful gourmand mood is welcome, but the synthetic citrus limits its versatility.
