Matchatopia
Fragrance notes
Character
Briix Fragrances created a scent that answers the need for a green gourmand that does not suffocate the room. Matchatopia mixes matcha tea, mate, ice cream, vanilla, white musk, and tonka bean into a profile that is vanilla, powdery, green, sweet, aromatic, musky, fresh, and fresh spicy all at once. The tea leaves give a vegetal lift that keeps the dairy and sugar from becoming flat. White musk and tonka bean add a soft, blurry edge that makes the blend feel like a cloud of fabric softener and whipped topping. It smells like a walk through a city park while holding a cone that is melting faster than expected. The air is cool enough that the sweetness feels cozy instead of sticky.
Composed by Sarah Park, this release fits a person who wants to smell like a pastry without committing to a heavy gourmand that overwhelms a jacket. It works best when the light is bright and the air has a bite, the kind of morning that calls for a knit layer and a warm drink. Wear it to a weekend market or a casual office when the calendar shows the months that sit between summer heat and deep winter.
