Electric Fantasy
Fragrance notes
Character
Electric Fantasy opens with a pop of passionfruit so ripe it practically drips, but that pink pepper gives it a fizzy, almost electric edge, like the first sip of a soda that you know will fizz away in minutes. The heart is where it gets confusing and that is its charm, heliotrope’s cherry-almond powder blending with jasmine’s indolic sweetness to create something both girlish and just a little narcotic. The dry down is a soft amber base of benzoin and ambroxan, that clean, salty-sweet skin scent that feels like the ghost of a night out.
This is a perfume that lives in the summer. It is a day-staple, a bright, synthetic-fruity rush that reads mainstream through and through, like a glazed donut left in the sun. The overall character is a photo of a teenage birthday party, all sticky frosting and sunburn and giggles that fade as soon as the camera clicks. With a longevity of 2.78 and sillage barely above 2.4, it evaporates off skin almost offensively fast, you will need to reapply if you want anyone to catch more than a whiff. That makes it perfect for someone who wants a brief burst of sweet, tropical optimism without commitment, a fragrance to spritz before a picnic or a drive with the windows down. Skip it if you demand projection or an evening seductress, this is not that. But for a carefree, 20 dollar thrill, Electric Fantasy delivers exactly what it promises: a happy little firework that burns out in under two hours. 🎆
