Melancholy Manor
Fragrance notes
Character
Someone fans themselves on a shaded porch while the air hangs heavy and still. The humidity clings to skin and clothes alike. A light shirt dries slowly in the breeze.
Bergamot and clementine arrive with a bright, juicy clarity. The tea note adds a cool, steeped dryness that feels like a glass of iced brew resting on a wooden table. Lily-of-the-valley brings a dewy, green freshness that cuts through the thicker air.
Grapefruit edges the florals with a sharp, bitter peel facet. Rose sits quietly in the background, soft and slightly powdered. Sandalwood offers a smooth, pale wood foundation that never turns heavy or dark.
Oakmoss grounds the blend with a damp, earthy texture that recalls stone walls covered in shade. Little Ghouls composed this for Petals & Poison in 2025. The citrus and green accords keep the atmosphere lifted even as the base settles close to the skin, leaving a faint impression of a garden that refuses to fully wake up while the afternoon heat presses against the windows and the leaves outside stay completely
