Our take

Eau de Lavander opens with lavender and rosemary that feel brisk and green, with bergamot adding a clean citrus lift. The herbs are dry rather than juicy, so the start reads as crisp air and crushed leaves. Sage enters next and keeps the tone herbal, while cedar brings a smooth, dry wood that grounds the aromatic top without turning heavy. The lavender continues through the heart, not fading so much as settling into the sage and cedar. Oakmoss and tonka bean arrive in the base, giving a soft chypre shadow that feels earthy and slightly sweet. Musk rounds the drydown with a powdery, skin-like finish that stays close to the material rather than expanding outward.

This is a fragrance for bright mornings and open spaces where sunlight hits stone and wood. It feels composed and calm, more structured than playful, with a clear herbal identity that does not try to surprise. The materials read natural rather than synthetic, and the overall impression is tidy and adult. The limitation is that the tonka bean and oakmoss sit a little flat together, lacking the spark or contrast that would make the base memorable. The drydown becomes a uniform blur of powder and wood, so the distinctive herbal opening does not carry through to the end.
