Loren by Atelier Segall & Barutti brings together tangerine, pepper, aldehydes, cedar, vetiver, tonka bean, amber, and white musk. The citrus and spice arrive with a bright, slightly metallic lift from the aldehydes. Cedar and vetiver add a dry, upright woodiness that keeps the opening from feeling soft. White musk and powdery facets sit underneath, giving the early stage a clean, slightly blurred edge. The overall impression is fresh, aromatic, and woody, with the aquatic accord adding a cool, airy quality that prevents the spices from feeling warm.
As the composition continues, the amber and tonka bean grow more prominent. The sweetness is mild and rounded, supported by the musky and powdery accords rather than by fruit. Vetiver and cedar remain present, now drier and more textured, while the pepper lingers as a faint bite. The aldehydes fade into the background, leaving the citrus to sit lightly on top of the wood and amber. The fresh spicy accord ties the remaining notes together, creating a clean, steady profile that feels composed and intentional.
The later stage is dominated by amber, white musk, and cedar, with vetiver and tonka bean filling out the base. The powdery accord becomes more noticeable, softening the wood and muting the spice.
