It is a direct opening that does not tease or shift dramatically before the next stage arrives.
Incense moves into the center and carries a floral presence that softens the heat. The smoke is present but not thick, allowing the petals to show without turning powdery. Saffron remains nearby and keeps the heart from becoming entirely dry, so the transition feels continuous rather than sectional.
Cambodian oud anchors the base alongside leather and amber, with the oud reading resinous and the leather smooth rather than rugged. The animalic accord adds weight while the balsamic facet glazes the wood and amber together. Sweetness lingers in the background and prevents the darker elements from dominating the finish
