The scent stays near the body, moving with the person wearing it rather than announcing itself to the far side of the path, and it holds to the skin for a good while as the resinous mastic slowly rises.
Ivy curls along the bridge's edge, its green scent threaded through the ylang-ylang that begins to open as the morning carries on. The flower adds a soft, slightly creamy texture to the air, but the greenery keeps it from becoming too rounded. Tonka bean waits beneath, lending a gentle warmth that matches the stone baking in the sun. Benzoin adds a balsamic smoothness that feels like the dust settled on an old wooden table left out in the light.
