Our take

Rose Volupté brings together rose, plum, cinnamon, cloves, heliotrope, labdanum, ambergris, oakmoss, cedar, sandalwood, aldehydes, and vetiver. The mix reads as a woody, warm spicy, amber, powdery, fruity, cinnamon, earthy, mossy, and aldehydic accord. It is unisex and wears without leaning hard in one gendered direction.

The rose carries the blend, supported by plum and the heat of cinnamon and cloves. Heliotrope adds a soft powder, while labdanum, ambergris, oakmoss, cedar, sandalwood, aldehydes, and vetiver build a dense, resinous, mossy, and slightly sharp foundation beneath the floral and fruity tones.

The dry stretch favors labdanum, ambergris, oakmoss, cedar, sandalwood, and vetiver. Rose stays present but sits deeper, and the spices step back. Heliotrope keeps a faint powder across the wood and moss. The aldehydes give a crisp edge to the heavier resin and earth, so the base does not collapse into flat sweetness.

The aldehydes can feel bright to the point of scratch, and the oakmoss adds a damp earth that some will find muddy. The powder from heliotrope and the weight of the resin may tire those who prefer clean, sheer florals.
