Majestueux Vetiver
Fragrance notes
Character
Cypress and grapefruit lead the first moments, bright and resinous at once. Pepper and cardamom add a brisk heat that keeps the citrus from feeling sunny. Bergamot smooths the edges so the entrance feels polished rather than sharp. Clary sage and lavender arrive early, lending a clean herbal tone that sits beside the frankincense without turning smoky. Cinnamon warms the heart just enough to suggest depth, though it stays in the background.
The drydown is where Majestueux Vetiver settles into its true character. Vetiver returns, earthy and dry, supported by patchouli that feels more rooty than sweet. Cedar gives the base a straight, woody line while amber and vanilla round the edges without making the blend soft. Musk binds the materials so the scent stays near the body rather than moving outward, and the composition holds its shape for a reasonable span before the notes gradually recede. One drawback is the frankincense. It is present only as a faint suggestion, so the resinous promise of the opening never fully develops. The fragrance stays pleasant and composed, yet it lacks the resin depth that would make the name feel completely earned.
