Cherry Wonderland
Fragrance notes
Character
Cherry Wonderland opens with a ripe black cherry that carries a boozy rum edge. Sweet orange adds a bright lift, while cardamom and anise provide a warm, slightly medicinal spice that keeps the fruit from feeling sugary. The anise in particular gives the opening a cool, sharp bite that cuts through the initial sweetness.
The heart shifts toward dry woods and earth. Oak and patchouli bring a damp, forest-floor quality that grounds the cherry, and violet adds a soft, powdery texture. As it moves into the base, sandalwood and labdanum create a rich, balsamic warmth. Frankincense contributes a resinous, slightly smoky depth, and moss pulls the entire composition toward a green, earthy finish.
The rum note remains present throughout, tying the fruit to the resinous base. This creates a dense, heavy trail that can feel overwhelming in close quarters. The anise and moss combine to create a bitter, slightly sharp dryness that some will find abrasive rather than sophisticated.
