The drydown is where this Salum Parfums creation truly lives. Labdanum and saffron bring a golden, resinous warmth that wraps around a firm leather accord, while geranium adds a green, slightly sharp edge. As it settles, ambroxan and styrax deepen the balsamic foundation, with incense and oud lending a dry, smoky woodiness that feels rich rather than overwhelming. The salt lingers faintly, keeping the amber from becoming too heavy. It is a bold, textured blend that suits cooler days and confident evenings. The one drawback is the synthetic edge of the ambroxan, which can feel a bit sharp and modern against the natural warmth of the resin and leather.
