Lovely Sweet Dreams opens with a burst of peach and apple, glossy and sugared, like the first bite of a fruit tart. The coconut nectar adds a soft, milky sweetness that feels almost tropical, but the heart quickly pulls it back into a bouquet of freesia, jasmine, white lily, and rose. This isn’t a garden you’ve stumbled upon at dawn. It’s a porcelain bowl of potpourri on a vanity table, powdered and polite, dusted with vanilla bean and tonka. The base is musky white woods, gentle and clean, but the whole affair is so whisper-thin it evaporates before you can pin down whether the florals are natural or synthetic. Given the abysmal longevity of 2.62 out of 5 and sillage that barely registers at 2.07, this is a scent you wear for yourself and only yourself, a private cloud that lasts maybe an hour before you’re reapplying. It’s sweet and powdery, squarely mainstream in its approachability, but the performance is a genuine weakness. Who should wear it?
