Our take

Pink Moon opens with a splash of lychee that’s almost too ripe, a syrupy fruitiness undercut by ginger’s sharp twist and a faint green coriander hum. Benoît Bergia knows how to keep that from tipping into saccharine: the camellia and peony heart feel like crushed petals dusted with Peru balsam’s resinous warmth, soft but not sleepy. As it dries, the crystal amber and agarwood creep in like late afternoon shadows, while musks hold everything close to the skin. The overall image is a peach-colored dusk where the air smells of wet flowers and a distant bonfire. It’s undeniably feminine, leaning synthetic in that glossy niche way, like a department store floor model that caught a stray ember. The sillage is modest at best, barely a whisper after two hours, and longevity runs a polite three to four hours before you’re pressing your wrist to your nose for comfort. Perfect for a spring lunch date or a mild summer evening where you want a gentle floral lift without announcing yourself. Skip it if you crave density or darkness. The powdery-amber base is pleasant but forgettable, and the agarwood never fully commits. Who is this for? Someone who wants to smell pretty, not powerful. And that is perfectly fine.
