Deep Incense
Fragrance notes
Character
Pink pepper and bergamot provide a bright, slightly fizzy start. Apricot adds a soft, rounded fruitiness that keeps the opening from feeling sharp. Osmanthus brings a gentle floral touch that sits quietly beneath the citrus.
Clary sage and davana introduce an herbal, slightly boozy character to the heart. Cinnamon lends a warm, familiar spice that feels cozy rather than hot. The incense note is present but remains restrained, never overwhelming the other elements.
Amber and benzoin create a thick, resinous foundation. Peru balsam adds a sweet, sticky resin quality that pairs closely with the vanilla. Sandalwood offers a smooth, creamy woodiness that carries the entire base forward with a comforting weight.
The powdery accord becomes quite prominent once the resins settle. It gives the fragrance a slightly dated, old-fashioned impression that some will find charming and others will find dusty. The synthetic edge on the vanilla also feels a bit flat compared to the natural warmth of the balsam.
