Aether Argent
Fragrance notes
Character
Aether Argent opens with a bracing snap of mint and rosemary that feels like stepping outside into crisp air. Bitter orange adds a bright, slightly sharp citrus edge while fir and petitgrain bring a resinous green texture. Coriander weaves through the top notes with a warm, peppery lift that keeps the opening from feeling too cold. The heart introduces lily and African violet, which soften the herbs with a clean, powdery floral touch. Beneath it all, frankincense and galbanum create a deep green resin that anchors the lighter elements. Virginia cedar adds dry wood, and oakmoss lends an earthy, slightly damp quality.
Seaweed in the base gives a salty, marine whisper that contrasts with the forest-like greens. Musk rounds out the drydown with a smooth, skin-like finish. The scent feels like walking through a snowy pine grove near the ocean, where cold air meets dark water. It is composed by Amber Jobin and carries a distinct niche character with natural-smelling herbs and woods. The powdery white floral aspect may feel dated to those who prefer sharp, modern minimalism. The blend of lily and violet can read as old-fashioned rather than fresh.
