Our take

Jasmine opens the door, bright and slightly indolic, but it does not stay the focus for long. The entrance is brief, giving way to a heart that feels alive with green stems and crushed leaves. Cinnamon and basil bring a kitchen-garden warmth that sits next to the sharp, resinous bite of galbanum, while tea lends a dry, steeped clarity. The early impression is one of a plant pressed between pages, aromatic and a little untamed.

The true character lives in the base. Wormwood arrives with a bitter, herbal depth that pulls the sweetness out of the air. Mimosa softens the edges with a fuzzy, pollen-heavy floral texture, but the wormwood keeps it grounded and serious. This is a fragrance for a walk through damp woods when the air is crisp and the ground is covered in fallen leaves. It feels intimate and cerebral, suited to someone who enjoys scents that challenge the nose rather than comfort it.

It avoids the usual polished smoothness of mainstream white florals. The bitterness here is pronounced, and the balsamic warmth feels dark rather than cozy. Those who expect a pretty jasmine will find it too abrasive and green. It settles into a skin-scent that is herbal, bitter, and distinctly floral.
