Our take

Elpis can feel a little thin if you expect a deep, layered chic fragrance. The orange and orange blossom at the top are bright and sunny, but the transition into the heart moves fast and leaves little mystery behind. Composed by Zoe Strantzali, this unisex release leans heavily on its floral accords without building much weight.

The heart gathers linden blossom, tea, cherry blossom, mimosa, honeysuckle, and ylang-ylang into a sweet, honeyed cloud. It reads green and fresh at first, then settles into a powdery softness that some will love and others will find a bit too airy. The cedar base offers a clean anchor, though it never turns dark or woody enough to ground the sweetness.

People who enjoy playful, bright florals will feel at home here. It suits spring days and lighter occasions where a heavy scent would feel out of place. If you prefer resinous, smoky, or bold compositions, this will likely seem too delicate and fleeting for your taste.

Walking through a garden path where every tree is in full bloom and the air is thick with pollen and warm light.
