Saffron adds a metallic warmth while orange and basil bring a fresh, green edge. Rose and cypress sit quietly in the background, softening the spices without turning the start floral or sweet.
The heart settles into orris and cloves, where the powdery iris root meets a dry, aromatic cinnamon. Red fruits add a faint juicy hint, but they never read as candy. Cedar and labdanum give the center a resinous weight, while orange blossom floats above it all with a clean, slightly soapy brightness that keeps the spices from feeling heavy.
