Amica Mea
Fragrance notes
Character
Amica Mea opens with a bright spray of neroli and orange that carries a fresh, green edge from the basil. The citrus feels clean and immediate, giving the fragrance a clear start that feels tied to open air and natural light. It is not a heavy entrance, and the herbs keep the fruit from leaning too sweet.
The heart moves into ylang-ylang and tuberose, supported by a soft iris. The white florals are rich and creamy, but the iris adds a powdery texture that keeps the bouquet from becoming overwhelming. There is a gentle warmth here that builds slowly, making the middle feel rounded and composed.
Sandalwood and tonka bean form a smooth base, with white oud adding a dry, woody depth. The sweetness of the tonka is present but restrained, and the oud does not dominate. The woods give the fragrance a polished finish that stays close to the skin and feels neat rather than dramatic.
The powdery accord becomes more prominent as the scent develops, and it may feel too dry for those who prefer a juicy or modern floral. The tuberose and iris combination creates a classic impression that lacks the sparkle found in lighter citrus florals.
